Hi! I’m Penny Rae and I am absolutely obsessed with Art. I have been drawing since before I can remember, and can’t remember a time when art wasn’t my passion. Over the years I’ve explored many different forms of art professionally, including cosmetology, fiber art, leather crafting, and jewelry making. Working with my hands and heart, creating art that brings joy and even a bit of contemplation to others is one of the most satisfying aspects my life, and gets me up every morning with purpose and vision.

I’ve been married to my husband for 22 years. I am only 43, so we got married very young, and it has been a better adventure than I could have ever imagined. We have 2 beautiful children. Our daughter is all grown up and off on her own adventures, and my son is still home being home-schooled. He does his work and I paint and create right next to him. It’s a wonderful life.

We live in Los Angeles, CA, where we have been for the past 19 years. I love my city, and you will see this reflected in my work from time to time.
I love to teach and inspire children to pursue art, and while I haven’t yet done this formally, I intend to when the time is right.
